We went through all five loosening exercises, as well as the up-and-down movement in considerable detail.
We discussed in brief, the merits of the Fujan White Crane system, which was the basis for my teacher's, teacher's, martial arts system and discussed how it serves to deepen one’s understanding of Tai chi in a more obvious way than Tai Chi does alone.
We discussed the nature of the breath in Tai chi, which should be long, slow and imperceptible and how focus on breathing is more important in terms of facilitating release in White Crane.
