About Esaias

I’ve been practising acupuncture and Chinese medicine for more than 24 years, treating a wide range of health problems, from pain and stress to digestive problems, fatigue and more complex or long-standing conditions.

My approach begins with understanding the whole picture. Your symptoms, general health, lifestyle and medical history all help to build a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to the problem and how best to approach treatment.

I take time to listen, explain my findings and answer questions, so that you understand the treatment I’m recommending and why. Acupuncture is tailored to you rather than applied as a standard treatment for a particular condition.

Where appropriate, I may also recommend changes to diet, lifestyle or self-care that can complement your acupuncture and help you get the most from treatment.

I’m a fully licensed acupuncturist and a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC).

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first appointment allows time to discuss your main concerns in detail, along with your general health, medical history, lifestyle and any other symptoms that may be relevant.

I’ll also examine your tongue and take your pulses as part of the Chinese medical diagnosis. Bringing this information together helps me understand how your symptoms may be connected and decide on the most appropriate treatment.

Your first acupuncture treatment takes place during the same appointment and is tailored to what we have found during the consultation. I’ll explain what I’m doing and why, and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Before you leave, we’ll discuss what I recommend next, including how frequently you may initially need treatment and, where appropriate, anything you can do between appointments to support your progress.

You’ll leave with:

🟡 A clearer understanding of your symptoms and how I intend to approach them

🟡 An acupuncture treatment tailored to you

🟡 A clear recommendation for what happens next

When you’re ready, you can book an Initial Consultation & Treatment online. If you’d prefer to talk to me first, you can book a free 20-minute consultation.
